Friends of Nexus raised over $14000 that provided Dr. Ibanda Moses at his rural clinic with a portable ultrasound machine. This tool will improve prenatal care for many mothers in remote areas and positively impact mother and infant mortality rates.
UPDATE: The UltraSound machine is working perfectly, and both Moses and Monica have now been trained in its use. Here is a list of ways it helped last Saturday. Moses sent this report: “I wanted to inform you that the UltraSound machine started working today without any complications. We were able to work on 6 expecting mothers and their progress was normal and those with Diabetes and Hypertension were 4. I wanted to let you know about that progress and we cant thank you enough. May God richly bless you.“
